Actions to date:
No disposable coffee cups
Will offer 20p discount on hot drinks if customers bring their own reusable cup
Free drinking water refills available + on the 'Refill Devon Scheme'.
No plastic straws - home crafted reusable bamboo straws available (these can also be supplied
to other local businesses on request!)
No single use condiments sachets, glass bottles used.
If takeaway food requested this will supplied in re-used container (customer asked to return
container if possible)
No plastic bags used for takeaways (only reused ones)
No disposable cutlery used.
All bottled drinks are in glass bottles (apart from milk bottles which are recycled)
Recycles plastic, cardboard, glass where possible.
Changed ice cream supplier because alternative plastic tubs were reusable in kitchen
Reuses Jam and clotted cream tubs.
Working on:
Continued feedback to suppliers to cutdown on plastic wrapping of products where possible.
