Woolacombe Pharmacy

A pharmacy is obviously a tricky business to eliminate single use plastics because of the nature of the products. However, Barton Pharmacy are making an effort to eliminate any single use plastics where possible and seeing this as a challenge to work on over time. So we think they should be a champion! This proves that any business no matter what the product can make changes and have an impact. Well Done Barton Pharmacy! 👏👏👏

We see this a challenge, not a competition to become plastic free. It may seem daunting at first, there are some really simple ways to cut down on single use plastic in our lives, such as using reusable bags. The impact on our local environment from plastic is visible daily, we all need to take responsibility for it. In our Pharmacy there is plastic packaging we simply can’t avoid unfortunately. But the team are looking for more ways to help cut down on the plastic we use.
